Can I Have an All Natural Skin Care Routine?
For the last couple of years there has been a heightened interest in a natural and organic lifestyle. This lifestyle choice covers everything from clothing to food to accessories. Skin care has also jumped on the bandwagon.
Most people that are drawn to this way of life will only be committed enough to incorporate one or two organic products into their daily life. However, there are those that will take the natural lifestyle to its fullest. If this type of lifestyle seems appealing to you, then you might be wondering: is it possible to have an all natural skin care routine?
In my opinion, you don't really need a professional to make all of your skin care products or perform most of your skin treatments. The only product you can't have a hand in making is a sunscreen as it is difficult to achieve the right formula at home.
Here is a list of all natural skin care (http://www.naturalskincarediscovery.com/) products that you can make yourself:
How to make Homemade Cleansers
To make a cleanser for oily or dry try this recipe:
Place one kiwi fruit in your food processor. Half way through add 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt, 1 tablespoon of orange water, 1 tablespoon of almond oil, 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of finely ground almond. Process until the mixture is thick and creamy.
Add 2 drops of your favorite citrus essential oil, and apply to your skin. Massage gently. Use warm water to rinse off the mixture.
To make a cleanser for normal skin mix 2 sprigs of fresh thyme (or 1/2 tablespoon of dried thyme) and 2 teaspoons of crushed fennel seeds. Cover with boiling water (about one half cup). Add the juice from half of a lemon and let it steep for 15 minutes.
Strain the infusion and store in the refrigerator until you are ready to use it. Apply it to your face using a cotton ball and rinse off with warm water to remove any residue.
Homemade Toners
Making your own toner is simple. All you need to do is add 1 to 3 drops of essential oil (or oils) to an 8 ounce glass of floral water. Fill a clean and sterile bottle with the mixture. When you need to use it, simply shake the mixture and splash it on your face after cleansing.
Floral water that is good for every skin type includes rose water, orange blossom, lavender and witch hazel (especially good for oily skin). Try rose geranium for sensitive skin and sandalwood for mature and dry skin. For acne prone skin, try peppermint or myrtle.
Essential oils for dry skin include bergamot, rose, rosewood, and frankincense. Normal skin types can try cedar wood, frankincense, lavender and neroli. Oily combination skin can use lemon, tea tree, cypress, and ylang ylang.
How to make Homemade Moisturizers
Making your own moisturizer is a bit more challenging because it requires heating some of the ingredients. In which case, you may want to look into purchasing some ready-made natural products.
All natural skin care (http://www.naturalbioskincare.com/nscp/), also referred to as bio skin care (http://www.naturalskincarediscovery.com/faq/), is a wondrous trend that you can be incorporated into your lifestyle, if you so wish. Natural skin care not only gives you the possibility of making your own products, but also offers natural skin care products (http://www.naturalbioskincare.com/) that are more intense and effective. BIOSKINCARE cream is a wonderful natural product that offers the benefits of natural ingredients without leaving behind the mess of homemade products. The benefit of these ready-made natural products is that the level of concentration are much higher than the ones you can make on your own, making them more effective and of greater benefit.
